The Constitutional Legislation Society, Tamil Nadu Countrywide Legislation College is honoured to announce the 1ST HABIBULLAH BADSHA MEMORIAL ESSAY Competitors on Constitutional Legislation. Mr. Habibullah Badsha (1933-2017) was a previous Advocate-Common of Tamil Nadu, a distinguished advocate and revered personality at the Madras Bar. He was a great philanthropist and secularist who championed for the rights of the bad and oppressed.
The essay competitors has been instituted by his spouse and children to honour his legacy and to promote constitutional spirit among law students.
The topic of the Essay is “Religion and Equality in Liberal Constitutionalism”. The Competition is open up only to Undergraduate (both equally 3 calendar year and 5 calendar year courses) and Postgraduate Students of law in India. Co-authorship is not permitted. Kindly send in your entries to email@example.com by 6th March, 2018 ahead of 12:00 midnight. Any entry received soon after the deadline shall not be approved. Plagiarized essays will be summarily rejected. The optimum word limit is 3000 words inclusive of footnotes (Occasions New Roman, font dimension 12, line area of 1.5).
The very first, next and third very best submissions will be awarded cash prize of Rs.7,500, Rs.5,000 and Rs.3,500 respectively. The very best ten essays will be awarded with a Certificate of Advantage.
