HC rejects resignation filed by Judge who delivered Mecca Masjid Blast Verdict

The Superior Courtroom of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Thursday rejected the resignation submitted by the choose who delivered the Mecca Masjid Blast verdict.

As per sources, Ravinder Reddy, the special Countrywide Investigation Company (NIA) choose who delivered the verdict in the above situation, has been questioned to show up at to his obligations immediately.

On Monday, a special NIA court at Nampally had acquitted all accused in the situation owing to absence of proof supplied from the latter.

Hrs right after the verdict was pronounced, Reddy tendered his resignation.

The blast, which took area on May 18, 2007, at the Mecca Masjid below through Friday prayers, had killed eight people and still left 58 wounded, and was allegedly carried out by a team of suitable-wing terrorists.

The NIA had taken cost of the situation from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in 2011, in which 10 folks were named as accused. Nonetheless, only 5 of them, particularly Devendra Gupta, Lokesh Sharma, Swami Aseemanand, Bharat Mohanlal Rateshwar and Rajendra Chowdhary were arrested and confronted trial in the situation.

In the meantime, two other accused- Sandeep V Dange and Ramchandra Kalsangra- are absconding, while a person of the accused, Sunil Joshi was allegedly murdered while the situation was currently being investigated. (ANI)
